The World Organization of States – International Parliament for Safety and Peace (WOS-IPSP) is closely following Italy’s recent advancements in the fields of science, technology, and infrastructure, which represent significant contributions to global development.
In recent days, the Italian Space Agency announced an agreement with SpaceX to send Italian scientific experiments aboard the Starship rocket as part of the first missions to Mars. This milestone demonstrates the excellence of Italy’s research sector and its contribution to the peaceful exploration of space.
At the same time, the Italian Government has confirmed the final approval for the construction of the Strait of Messina Bridge, set to become the longest suspension bridge in the world. If implemented with respect for the environment and local communities, this infrastructure could serve as a strategic asset for connectivity and economic growth in the Mediterranean region.
The WOS-IPSP reaffirms its readiness to cooperate with governments, scientific institutions, and international organizations to support projects that foster technological progress, interconnection among peoples, and the promotion of peaceful cooperation on a global scale.
