The World Organization of States – International Parliament for Safety and Peace (WOS‑IPSP) is honored to announce the appointment of H.E. Hon. Jamal Buhasan, Member of the Council of Representatives of the Kingdom of Bahrain, who officially assumes the position of Chairman of the Parliamentary Committee for the Middle East Group.
Born in Muharraq in 1962, Hon. Buhasan has pursued a distinguished academic and professional career. He obtained a diploma in wireless technology in 1977, a diploma in computer science from the University of Bahrain in 1989, a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Cairo University in 2003, and a master’s degree from the same university in 2009.
His professional journey began in the Computer Science Department of the Bahrain Monetary Agency. He later served as a telegraph technician at the Gulf News Agency and as a passport officer at Bahrain International Airport for the Ministry of Interior. He subsequently held increasingly senior positions at the King Fahd Causeway Authority, serving as Director of the General Services Department, Director of the Finance Department, Head of Procurement, Security Control Officer, and ultimately Head of Financial Affairs for the Qatar‑Bahrain Causeway Project.
In parallel, H.E. Hon. Buhasan has gained substantial leadership experience in the private sector, serving as CEO of Emkan Global Consulting and Chairman of the Board of Tawreed International Trading Company. In 2014, he was elected to the Council of Representatives of Bahrain, winning the seat for the third constituency of the Muharraq Governorate with 52.31% of the vote.
Upon accepting the appointment as Chairman of the Parliamentary Committee for the Middle East Group of WOS‑IPSP, H.E. Hon. Jamal Buhasan expressed his pride and commitment to supporting the Organization’s efforts to promote peace, security, and international cooperation in the Middle East. His extensive institutional and managerial experience is a valuable asset to strengthening WOS‑IPSP’s presence in the region, fostering dialogue, stability, and sustainable development.
سعادة النائب جمال بوحسن – رئيس اللجنة البرلمانية لمجموعة الشرق الأوسط في المنظمة العالمية للدول – البرلمان الدولي للأمن والسلام (WOS‑IPSP)
تشرف المنظمة العالمية للدول – البرلمان الدولي للأمن والسلام (WOS‑IPSP) بالإعلان عن انضمام سعادة النائب جمال بوحسن، عضو مجلس النواب في مملكة البحرين، والذي تولى رسميًا منصب رئيس اللجنة البرلمانية لمجموعة الشرق الأوسط.
وُلد سعادته في مدينة المحرق عام 1962، وقد تميز بمسيرة أكاديمية ومهنية مرموقة. حصل على دبلوم في تكنولوجيا الاتصالات اللاسلكية عام 1977، ودبلوم في علوم الحاسوب من جامعة البحرين عام 1989، ثم نال شهادة البكالوريوس في إدارة الأعمال من جامعة القاهرة عام 2003، وأتبعها بدرجة الماجستير من الجامعة نفسها عام 2009.
بدأ مسيرته المهنية في قسم علوم الحاسوب بمؤسسة نقد البحرين، ثم عمل كفني تلغراف في وكالة أنباء الخليج، وبعدها كموظف جوازات في مطار البحرين الدولي التابع لوزارة الداخلية. وانتقل لاحقًا للعمل في هيئة جسر الملك فهد، حيث شغل عدة مناصب منها: مدير إدارة الخدمات العامة، ثم مدير إدارة المالية، فرئيس قسم المشتريات، ثم مسؤول مراقبة الأمن، وأخيرًا رئيس الشؤون المالية لمشروع جسر قطر‑البحرين.
وعلى التوازي، راكم سعادته خبرات قيادية متميزة في القطاع الخاص، حيث شغل منصب الرئيس التنفيذي لشركة Emkan Global Consulting، ورئيس مجلس إدارة شركة Tawreed International Trading Company. وفي عام 2014، انتُخب عضوًا في مجلس النواب البحريني، حيث فاز بمقعد الدائرة الثالثة في محافظة المحرق بنسبة 52.31% من الأصوات.
وقد عبّر سعادة النائب جمال بوحسن، عن فخره واعتزازه بتوليه منصب رئيس اللجنة البرلمانية لمجموعة الشرق الأوسط في WOS‑IPSP، مؤكداً التزامه بدعم مبادرات المنظمة الهادفة إلى تعزيز السلام والأمن والتعاون الدولي في منطقة الشرق الأوسط. وتُعد خبراته الواسعة في العمل المؤسسي والإداري إضافة قيّمة تدعم حضور المنظمة في المنطقة، وتسهم في تعزيز الحوار والاستقرار والتنمية المستدامة.
